The Roland TR-808 and TR-909 are most likely the two most sampled Drum Machines ever made . The TR-606 and TR-707 are close behind. At Utreen MIDI Labs we have something else in mind . Here is a sample library recorded with the highest quality equipment to preserve the original signal. Each stereo sample recorded with a Neve style Preamp by Vintech and digitized with high quality ultra pristine Mytech D/A converters .All connections made with Zaolla silver premium cables. A minimum of digital processing was added to insure the integrity of each file . No EQ or compression .Each full library has been rendered in 96khz 24 bit and 44.1khz 16 bit stereo wav files. Now here is where it get`s interesting we also recorded each sample directly to an analog tape machine running at 7 IPS . What we got was not a LO-FI reproduction but I wonderful Fat, slightly softer edged version that will certainly add some girth without loosing the original character of the sound.
