A perfect June evening in Brooklyn , sunshine a nice breeze in the air , an abandon swimming pool ? No better time for a Devo Show . Yes that`s right Devo is touring again . So dust off your energy domes and check them out.

Opening with more of the synthy tunes , our spuds were seen with some new gear onstage . Most impressively was the Moog Voyager . The Voyager sounded amazing handling the the classic synth lines with ease .Including all the LFO filtery stuff in Smart Patrol / Mr DNA . A Prophet Five was also present but sadly went unused . When not playing bass Jerry played a Korg Triton TR ( wtf ? ) Now sponsored by Line 6 all the Guitar tones were from the Floor POD . Would it be out of place to talk about Devo and guitar tone ? I know it sounds silly , but I just don`t like the way those Line 6 things sound . In spite of all that ,these guys really rocked the house . What an excellent show . If you can get out and see them they are a UML favorite .
